Currently, Tokyo Geijutsu Daigaku has 130 foreign students from 30 countries in the world. Among them, 36 students live in the International House in Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture.

Every autumn, the International House invites local residents and people from the Matsudo International Exchange Association, Toride Friendship Association, and International Friendship Association of Shiroi to hold an exchange event with tenants of the International House (foreign students, tutors, and foreign researchers, etc.) The exchange event was held on November 15 this year and had approximately 70 attendees. A student from Kyrgyz Republic performed the Jew's harp. Another student from Korea performed the kayagum. A piano duet and singing were also performed. In addition to this, voluntary local residents performed the "Yosakoi Dance." Thus, the attendees engaged in a lively interaction and deepened mutual understanding.
