Educational activities
Furukawa teaches “Introduction to IMA,” “Media Music Seminar” and others.
Social activities
actively engaged in music using new media in collaboration with “Triangle” organized by the deafness association in Tokyo, and gives concerts. This activity was highly recognized as designing human relationships, and he was awarded the Good Design Award. One of his projects in 2002 was to have Ikeda Elementary School children express themselves via new media, one year after the tragic killing incident at school.
