The Luo version of the siiriri, a single-stringed, spiked fiddle that is found in Kenya and Uganda. The resonator is carved out of a single piece of wood. The outer surface of the body is cut in 3 terraced layers so as to taper in towards the front face. The back is left open. Played with a sisal bow.
