Gallery Talk August9.2001
Eriko NAKAU, Michiko SAKUMA (Postdoctor students)

KUNISAWA is the first Japanese painter who studied in Europe. The procedure of Y.Takahashi's paintings has various points in common with the manual book of oil painting which KUNISAWA brought back from Britain. The New School painters like KURODA tried to express gentle backlight sunshine using delicate colors.
