A double-clarinet comprised of two reed pipes bound together. There is a long, narrow idioglot reed for each pipe with a down-cut tongue in each, inserted directly into the pipe. The two pipe sections are joined by threads with tar painted on top. The entire reed is placed into the player's mouth, and a circular breathing technique is used. Played to accompany dance and song.
