bamboo; L. 12.3cm

A player holds a single pipe so that the stopped node faces downwards, and places the lower lip against the open upper end. Played both in ensembles and as a solo instrument. Usually in the former case there are six players, each of whom holds a single saggeypo. While walking, they sound various rhythms which combine to form interlocking patterns.
