Reflection in the Water" by HISHIDA Shunso
"Reflection in the Water" by HISHIDA Shunso

Hishida Shunso(1874-1911) and Yokoyama Taikan(1868-1958) were among the first to learn at the Tokyo Fine Arts School, and they both grew up to be the leading figures in modern Japanese style painting. Their early works show the traits of their artistic experiments.
