A small reed organ. The player operates a bellows at the rear of the instrument with one hand while playing the keyboard with the other. Large stops regulate timbre and volume, while small stops regulate the drone. The instrument was imported into India from the West within the last century and remodelled to suit Indian styles. widely used as an accompaniment instrument in melodic style.
