If you are interested in applying to our laboratory, please read "Science for Conservation" which publishes research papers and restoration treatment summaries conducted by the Center for Conservation Science and Restoration Engineering at the Tokyo National Research Institute for Cultural Properties, and confirm the specialty of each instructor.

During your visit, you will be given a tour of the lab and will be given an overview of our research activities and entrance exams.
Please meet with an instructor before applying to determine whether your research topic is a good fit with the lab's policies.
