Announcement with regard to Typhoon No.19（Update at 15:30 on 13 October）

With Typhoon 19 approaching the Kanto region, Tokyo University of the Arts has made the following decisions to secure safety of members and visitors of the university community.
All campuses (Ueno, Toride, Yokohama, and Senju) will be closed on October 12 and the morning of October 13.
Concerts, exhibitions, and all other events scheduled for these dates on campus will be canceled.
Decisions for events that are scheduled for the afternoon of October 13 will be communicated additionally through the university’s homepage or the website for each event.
Closure of Toride Campus due to blackout
There is a blackout on Toride Campus. Recovery works is expected after resumption of the operation of JR lines tomorrow.
To secure safety of members and visitors of the university community, Toride Campus will be closed until 14 October.
Update at 15:30 on 13 October
Ueno Campus: The campus was reopened at noon of 13 October. Please be aware of fallen objects such as broken branches.
Senju Campus: The campus was reopened at 14:00 of 13 October. Please be aware of fallen objects such as broken branches.
Yokohama Campus: The campus will be closed until 14 October.
Toride Campus: The campus will be closed until 14 October.
