It is extremely important to share your itinerary, destinations, and local contact information with your family and the university and obtain overseas travel insurance when you travel abroad.
These measures are especially important now given the high likelihood of unexpected situations such as sudden restrictions on movement and flight cancellations.
If you are a student currently overseas and you have not submitted a notification of overseas travel, please immediately submit it online.
We ask faculty/staff members to submit a notification of overseas travel for personal travel, in addition to overseas trips for work. Please use the online form to provide your itinerary, destinations, and local contact information.
If you are a student or faculty/staff member who has visited an area at Level 2 of Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Travel Advice and Warning on Infectious Diseases within 14 days of returning to Japan, we ask that you refrain from coming to the university campuses and stay home for 14 days after returning to Japan. Please refer to the following for details about individual health management:

Regardless of country or region of origin, all travelers entering Japan from China and Republic of Korea are requested to go through a 14-day quarantine at their home or hotel whether or not they show symptoms.
