2020.04.23 | ALL, STUDENT

Information for Students:

In light of the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, the university is planning to implement online classes in accordance with the timeline provided below.

Preparation for Online Classes

(1) Google Classroom
Google Classroom is considered for use as a platform to help you manage class assignments, or boost collaboration and foster communication with others.

Please prepare by learning how to use Google Classroom in advance.

You can use your Gmail account to log into this service, and there is no need to create a new Google account. (Non-degree students can access Google Classroom using their Geidai accounts. However, there is no email functionality associated with their accounts, so they need to go back to Google Classroom regularly and check for any assignments and announcements from their instructors by themselves. )

>> A guide to using Google Classroom (Japanese language only)

(2) Campus Plan
We are now preparing to post “Class Codes” on the Campus Plan portal, corresponding to the timetable of online classes. It is an identification number required to join each class on Google Classroom. .
Please sign in your Campus Plan to check these Class Codes which will be updated from time to time.

(3) Textbooks
Textbooks and reference books can be purchased at the Geidai Co-op store. The Co-op store on the Ueno campus reopens on May 7. Delivery services are available upon request, and the university will cover the shipping cost of the first purchase.

If you want to have your purchase delivered by post, you are required to remit the payment for the textbooks and such to the bank account of the Co-op store in advance. After confirmation of your payment, they will send your order to the designated address by Letter Pack. The detailed information will be posted on their website as soon as it is ready.
