英国建築協会付属建築専門大学（AAスクール）との芸術国際交流協定締結について

2023年4月6日、東京藝術大学正木記念館にて、本学と英国建築協会付属建築専門大学（AAスクール）の芸術国際交流協定調印式を開催しました。

会場となった正木記念館は、東京美術学校第5代校長正木直彦先生の長年にわたる功労を記念するため1935年に建設された建物で、調印式は２階に設けられた書院造の和室にて執り行われました。本学からは日比野学長と光井美術学部長（兼建築科教授）、AAスクールからはIngrid Schroder学長と本学卒業生で同校ディプロマスクールユニットマスター兼訪問学校日本プログラムディレクターの江頭慎氏が出席され、協定書に署名されました。

本学とAAスクールは、今後も共同ワークショップ等の実施を通じて、建築分野での交流・連携を深めていきます。

Tokyo Geidai Signs Partnership Agreement with Architectural Association School of Architecture, UK

On April 6, 2023, Tokyo University of the Arts (Tokyo Geidai) and the UK’s Architectural Association School of Architecture (AA School) signed an international partnership agreement at the Masaki Memorial Gallery of the university.

The event was held in the Japanese shoin-zukuri room on the second floor of the Gallery, which was built in 1935 to commemorate the honorable work of the fifth director of Tokyo Fine Arts School (predecessor of Tokyo University of the Arts), Naohiko Masaki. Representing the two institutions to sign the agreement were Tokyo Geidai President Katsuhiko Hibino and Prof. Wataru Mitsui, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, and AA School Director Dr. Ingrid Schroder and Tokyo Geidai alumnus Mr. Shin Egashira, who serves as Diploma School Unit Master and Visiting School Japan Programme Director at AA School.

Tokyo Geidai and AA School will continue to promote international exchange and collaboration in the field of architecture by carrying out joint projects such as workshops.
